COMMUNICATION OF THE WORD OF GOD
God's inspired, inerrant revealed truth alone informs us as to what we are to believe and how we are to live. The Scriptures make us adequate and God intends for every portion of His word to make us more like Himself. Thus, we will minister the whole counsel of God in public worship. We will equip God's people, through biblical teaching in various settings in the life of the church, to know God and to walk with Him and bring every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ.
CORPORATE PRAISE OF GOD
Worship is the single most important activity in the life of the believer. Corporate worship on the Lord's Day is preeminent in the life of the church and should be accompanied by personal and family worship in the home. Church members should seek to glorify and enjoy God as they live in union with Christ, offering their entire lives to Him.
COMMUNITY OF BELIEVERS
Christ has constituted the church as a body. The nature of the church should be expressed through relationships in which there is dependence and interaction. We desire to know and love one another and demonstrate the unity that God has objectively established in the church as well as reflect the unity that exists within the godhead.
COVENANT FAMILY
The nuclear family has been established by God for relationships in which His character is reflected and in which the Christian faith is passed on from generation to generation. We will provide structures to assist couples and families in the strengthening of their relationships and we intend for each member of the congregation to assist fellow believers in the Christian nurture of their covenant children.
COMMUNION WITH GOD (PRAYER)
God utilizes the prayers of His people in accomplishing His sovereign purposes. Understanding and utilizing corporate and personal prayer as a means of grace also deepens our relationship with God. As we come before our Father and King in prayer, we should ask boldly, seek humbly, and knock persistently. We will encourage God's people to come before His throne of grace regularly and will provide structures through which the church corporately seeks the face of God in prayer.
COMMISSION OF JESUS CHRIST TO HIS CHURCH
The church is built through the personal and corporate proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Christ commissioned His church to make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:18-20) and has called us to be His witnesses, beginning with our local community and extending "to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8). We will seek to equip Christians to share the gospel with the lost and will support, through our prayers and finances, those from our body and other congregations whom God calls to various mission fields.
